Sheets fill color staying as one color when switching through cells I have to check through spreadsheets and highlight incorrect information with yellow, in word you can set the default color to yellow when you go to highlight the cell and move to a new cell the yellow will stay as default is there anyway to do something like this within sheets? If somebody else is the owner of the document, perhaps they have protected the sheet against changes, or you can only edit some of the cells. To investigate if that is the problem, go to File > make a copy. Don't share it with anyone because it is only a test field.
