Pacific Northwest artist Amy Brown was born in Bellingham, Washington in 1972. As a child she spent countless hours drawing fairy princesses at an old, dark wood table in the living room of the beach cabin her parents rented. The doodling continued throughout her adolescence and at the age of 21 she began to take her art seriously, specializing in painting the fairy realm.
Amy started working. Amy Brown Art Amy Brown has been practicing the art of faeries for over 25 years, creating dreamy and mystical watercolor and ink paintings with metallic accents. Her art brings a touch of magic and happiness to life, incorporating vibrant colors, intricate details, and versatile portrayals.
Over the years, various artists, books and films from the past and present added inspiration to her growing imagination and continue to do so. Amy began her Faery art career in 1992 when she started work at a gallery called Festival of Art. There she learned about color, design, framing techniques, layout and various art techniques.
