Art Clokey Arthur "Art" Clokey (October 12, 1921 - January 8, 2010), born Arthur C. Farrington, was a pioneer in the popularization of stop motion clay animation. He is best known for his animated television character Gumby.
Art Clokey died at the age of 88 on January 8, 2010.
