Swap Force Vs Trap Team
Trap Team is a pretty big step backward from Swap Force in regards to going for 100%. Level design is more restrictive and gated off in such a way that a major reason why you'll have to replay levels is because you chose the wrong branching path and accidentally progressed the level instead of exploring. Additionally, the elemental gates only open for the new Trap Master characters unlike Swap.
Swap Force! Just kidding. Trap Team definitely has better upgrade pictures. I think Trap Team was a step back for the worse in many ways.

Swap Force is a lot more accessible. The Swap Force figures aren't as expensive as the trap team figures especially Knight Light and Knight Mare, and don't even get me started on the traps. You'd need one of each type (and Kaos) to experience every villain and some are cheap others are expensive.

Also the Trap Team figures are required for the elemental gates, whereas Swap Force just needs any. Trap Team really made me appreciate Swap Force more. Once I got Trap Team, I was saying it's the best in the Skylanders franchise, and it being my favorite, but now the more I play it the more I miss Swap Force.

The figures are actually larger than most Giants. They got the swaping abilities from a magical volcano. Trap Team to me was a huge downgrade in terms of contents, features, quality, lack of post-game contents and lack of usage for older Skylanders.
Also quite expensive if you're aiming for 100% completion unlike Swap Force.
