However in the anime, he told it was Blue. I think when it comes to Anime, Blue looks visually and aesthetically pleasing. Yellow color cannot be emphasized in the bright daylight.

I was under the impression that Naruto's chakra was a different color because of the kyuubi's influence, and Shisui's chakra would have been a different color because it was part of a mangekyo power.

However, it's pretty much stadardized to be yellow for most. The different colors correspond to varying chakra. I think of it like auras where Sasuke's is darker and colder feeling and Itachi's is brighter and warmer indicative of his "will of fire".
Different personalities induce different chakra coloration. Either way, wasn't it said that the Sharingan is able to see the color of a person's chakra? If so that would imply that each person has a unique color for their chakra.
