Goku is a very complex and layered character and there are a lot of mysteries surrounding him, and one of those mysteries is going to be the topic of this article. We are going to reveal what the color of Goku's eyes is and why it changes when he transforms. Goku's eyes are naturally black in color.

While future Super Saiyan transformations kept Goku's eyes as teal, the red-colored eyes of Toriyama's concept art eventually made their official anime appearance -- over two decades later -- via Super Saiyan God (Red) in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. Goku's eyes changed again after achieving Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct Goku. Interesting how most of Goku's Forms lack irises.
With the exception of Super Saiyan God and Goku's new Form coming up. As you can see in the images i provided, Goku's Base, SSJ1-3 and even SSJ Blue doesn't provide Goku with any irises at all. He only possesses pupils.

But now look at the SSJ God and Goku's new Limit Breaking Forms, in SSG, Goku has RED irises, and in the new Form he. Couldn't Goku make those eyes without being in super saiyan form? He's (almost?)never had that furrowed-brow-look, and he's been serious in base form before. If Turles was canon, the genes would make more sense.
Speaking of GENE, her eyes don't really resemble the son's too much, and if Goku could make those eyes in base form. So my friend and I are having a dispute about the color of SSJ eyes.
Goku's Eyes: What Color Are They & Why Do They Change?
A Google search produced various answers, so I figured I would ask the DB community. What is the eye color of a Super Saiyan supposed to be? I thought it was supposed to be green, or teal at the most, but I noticed in episode 5 Goku's eyes were essentially light blue. Has this happened before and can the eye color be blue or green and it doesn't really matter? The yellow aura around goku may actually tint the color of his eyes too.
If this is the case, if you add yellow to blue, you get the distinctive greenish color, which would actually make a lot of sense. Goku's Super Saiyan Eyes for HUM&SYM I read some recent comments from angry people on my "Transformed Faces For CaC" mod, so that inspired me to make Goku's angry face fully adapted for all vanilla HUM/SYM face customizations, also it doesn't have that weird division line in the cheek anymore.
