I'm a dad on my tenth rewatch of Frozen 2 and for the first time I'm getting this feeling like Elsa dies when she is fighting the water horse. Now, I know she does not actually die in the story. But, it feels like the writers definitely wanted to use those cues or subtext in order to invoke a certain emotion or feeling in the audience.
