Lent Cartoon Music Video: Jesus in the Desert Dan Lee wrote, 40" plus "How He Loves" I made this video to help my youth group students wonder what Jesus's experience in the wilderness was like. In my search I came across Si Smith's "40," a set of images imagining what Jesus might have done during those 40 days. Afterwards, Jesus went into the desert, which is also called the wilderness in the Bible, to prepare himself for doing God's work.
The first picture shows that Jesus was in the desert by himself, and that the desert was barren and dry, which means that plants would have difficulty growing due to the lack of rain. Theres a great set of illustrations by Simon Smith on the 40 days Jesus spent in the desert. Some have set it to music, you can see several on youtube like this.
