Here, you'll find many sprites sheets dealing about Sonic the hedgehog and its related universe. Most of them come from DPI website (webmastered by Psy Guy), but the versions I offer here are better and easier to use (same transparent background color -- blue color: 0 0 255 RGB values -- on all sheets, all available in GIF and 24.

This is my takeover on these Sonic character sprite comparison spritesheets. I´m only including sprites from Official Sonic games (and prototypes too). Also, I added the color indicators to specify what these mean.

Shared traits include round bodies, somewhat big heads, no facial features except for large eyes, two arm-like appendages, ghostly tails.
