I've decided to archive the colorized Gameboy hacks and upload them onto the internet archive. Files for Game Boy, Game Boy Color hacks and translations. Download, borrow, or stream the US version of Donkey Kong by Nintendo with detailed controls provided for gameplay.
This is a GameBoy to GameBoy Color conversion for Donkey Kong Land. It also includes some new featur. Download Donkey Kong Country game for Game Boy Color and enjoy playing the full version of the ROM for free.
Hacking DIY - Change Text and Sprite Colors In this romhack you are going to change the color of the High Score text and the color of the Jumpman sprite. For this hack you need a copy of the original 'dkong.zip' (Donkey Kong (US set 1)) and the HxD Editor to edit the romfiles. A download link for the HxD Editor can be found on the 'LINKS' page.
Here it is: a real restoration project for the infamous Donkey Kong Country for GBA. It wasn't a bad port after all, the gameplay was completely intact and also had the new Hero and Attack modes. It's still a little behind from the SNES version due to the resolution reducement and soundtrack (which sounds worse, but still sounds good!).
Donkey Kong Country ROM download is available below and exclusive to CoolROM.com. Download Donkey Kong Country ROM to your computer and play it with a compatible emulator. You can also play this game on your mobile device.
If you enjoy this free ROM on CoolROM.com, then you may also like other Gameboy Color titles listed below. There is also the additions of a time attack mode called DK Attack, a harder difficulty mode called Hero Mode (can only play as Diddy Kong and the game no longer offers Donkey Kong barrels and checkpoints throughout the levels), and the sticker book idea from the Gameboy Color version was replaced with collecting scrapbook pictures instead.
