Students will first learn how Close uses grids to enlarge paintings and about Lichtenstein's comic-inspired style. Then students will create an enlarged drawing of their own using grids to show proper scale and proportion, incorporating techniques. o Remind students to draw all lines very light because they will have to erase the grid lines later.
