If you label your cans and use the same can for the same fuel type, gas, diesel, mix gas etc. You should have no need to pour something else into the fuel. This label system works great unless someone else who cannot read is filling and using your cans.
RC Fuels - Food coloring as fuel dye - I've been told one can use regular food coloring to dye fuel. How much is too much? I would have to agree and say not to put food cloring in your fuel. If you want to know when your fuel level is getin low while you are runnin, you could make a "float" switch.

Add blue coloring to red kerosene to get purple. Anyone know the type of dye I want to use to put in my fuel so I can distinguish premix from straight gas etc? The 2 stroke oil I'm using (mobil 1 synthetic) doesn't have any color to it so it's easy to forget if you've mixed. For all you to the letter people out there this question is also for my 4 stroke cause I don't want to indadvertantly dump 2 smoke gas in my 4stroke.

After a couple of weeks I am not exactly sure If I mixed oil in it or not because I use 927 and it looks like gas.
