Check out our expert's full review. The Core SS compound hunting bow from Bowtech Archery delivers an unbelievably smooth draw and effortless accuracy. The pinnacle of precision and balance.
Re: Smoothest drawing compound bow Unread postby Tennhunter3 Thu Dec 15, 2022 9:07 pm When I bought mine I tried the middle to high end of most companies. I was pretty budget open 500- 1500. The elite was the best I really like its backwall and bow balance at full draw.
It felt natural. Matthews that I've tested aren't well balanced and are. Bows from different manufacturers are so different now days.
I go my local shop and fire the new models every year. It's amazing how much smoother they're getting while maintaining speeds that were unattainable at 50-60lbs a decade ago. The new Bowtechs and Hoyts are the smoothest/easiest drawing imo.
I think the Bowtech SR350 was the smoothest/easiest 'speed bow' this year. You could ratchet. I know things like smooth draw are subjective, but what it is the smoothest drawing and easiest holding bow you have shot recently? I had bicep tendon surgery on Monday on my left arm.
I had torn my right bicep and had it repaired in 2013. These coupled with 2 back surgeries has me planning to drop down to 50# bows. If you are going to do a video that highlights how fast hunting bows are, it's only right to follow up with a video showcasing draw cycle.
I spent hours at the shop shooting all eight of my test bows again and again to figure out which draw cycle I liked the best. Here are the eight. I started out with my wife's 40lb bow right after surgery and by hunting season I was shooting a 60lb bow, since I've gotten so I can draw 80lbs easy but it took a lot of work to get my shoulder where it is today.
RE: Smoothest Drawing Bow? there are many bows that draw smooth, but I think the Switchback XT draws the smoothest that is on the market today. I wouldn't worry about the speed issue, what you lose is a small fraction on what you gain.
