Here's where it gets interesting. ARC troopers didn't have to stick to one strict pattern. Alpha-class ARCs might have kept their old rank colors for a while, but promoted ARCs and ARC Program graduates had room to experiment.
They could add their own stripes, helmet designs, gear attachments - basically, they could make their armor their. ARC Troopers commonly customized their armor for identification purposes and were known to have intricate designs on their equipment, particularly their kamas. Traditionally, like standard Clone troopers, the color of an ARC Trooper's armor depended on their rank.
However, this practice was abolished as the war progressed. It seems like ARC troopers were given pretty free reign over the paint patterns on their armor, but I'm curious if that was universal for all ARCs, or if there were some limitations, such as membership in a battalion or squad. We see several ARCs stick to the colors of their battalion; examples being Rex, Fives, Echo, and Jesse sticking with the 501st blue, but even then, their patterns are.
Available references show Standard ARC troopers to have either Blue, Yellow, Red or Green (Bright) markings on their armor. Shown here is the blue Standard ARC. For anyone interested, my existing clone trooper designs are available for me to recolor for your OC legions or patterns.
Price will depend on the complexity of the recolor and equipment swaps like helmets, pauldrons, weapons, and any other auxiliary gear will cost extra. However, this was practice was rescinded as the war progressed. The ranks of each ARC will have a secondary color that goes with it. Sergeant (Green)- At this rank you can command a small squad of clone troopers.
Lieutenant (Blue)- These ARCs can command a large number of clone troopers. Captain (Red)- These ARCs have control over all subordinate ARCs, and standard Clone Troopers. Commander (Yellow).

Light grey panels are weathered using shades of black. Light grey panels are weathered using shades of black. The main panels of the right shoulder are blue.
Attaches to the top front of the chest above the outer chest armor. An animated style ammo. ARC Troopers aren't actually part of any specific clone battalions so the colors they choose to paint their armor in is personal preference.
That's why you see really out there color schemes like "Umbra Operative" and "Lambent Seeker" and no consistency like the various ARCs we saw in Rancor battalion. ARC colors Is there a system for what color armor ARC troopers used? I see the box art has red/orange and blue markings on them. I'd like to try to stick to canon when I paint the ARCs that will be used with my upcoming 501st and 212th minis, respectfully.
