Why Are My Sheets Turning Purple
I run a small hotel and have just in the last week noticed some bedsheets from a couple of my rooms have these light purple stains on them. Sheets are 50% cotton/50% polyester to be washed in warm non-bleach water. I have tried a light bleach/water solution, vinegar, Oxyclean, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, enzymatic cleaner, but nothing takes them out.
I hate to dispose of the sheets because. My husband's pillow was getting mystery purple stains and it took a while to figure out it was his eye mask. It was black but apparently the color bled purple.

So maybe it's something that looks a different color. There are also some medical conditions that make sweat turn colors but I think it is more like orange.
