You probably got a can from the end of the run and ended up with stuff from the bottom of the tank that should have been dumped to avoid this. I've seen this on cans before and it could be a few different things. Rust, spillage from a different drink, or some kind of mold.
I would lean towards mold considering where these cans tend to be stored. Should be fine if you just wipe it off. Was slowly drinking my energy drink and noticed this in my drink.
