Venom Eye Colour
Venom's appearance is a variation on the original black Spider. Are Venom Snake's eyes and Naked Snake's eyes the same color? So I was watching a few Metal Gear Solid V videos, and when I saw the scene where Volgin discovered that Venom Snake wasn't Big Boss I wondered how he noticed, was it because of the eye colors? In MGS3 it is said that Naked Snake's eyes are blue, but Venom's look more green to me. Venom, also known formally as " The Symbiote ", is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
The character is a sentient alien symbiote with an amorphous, liquid-like form, who survives by bonding with a host, usually human. This dual-life form receives enhanced powers and usually refers to itself as "Venom". Physical appearance Venom has a very muscular, black body that resembles the Symbiote he originated from.

He has white eyes with no pupils, sharp teeth, and a long tongue. Except for the teeth, tongue, and black and white color-scheme, he resembles Spider-Man's. The detective's eyes were not blue in Venom.
In fact, the color of the detective's eyes was never explicitly mentioned or shown on screen throughout the entirety of the film, nor was it of any significance to the plot or the character's development. Why does Venom have white eyes? So, the white areas are merely acting as a stylistic element, rather than being actual eyes at this point. The symbiote presumably makes whatever element of its outer image lines up with the bonded human's eyes transparent.

Many of the Symbiote species have their own unique colours, Anti-Venom is white, Sleeper is green, Scream is Yellow, Venom is Black, and Carnage is red. Eye color also changes appearance with lighting conditions, so that's something to consider.
It's possible Big Boss's single eye in MGS4 is not his own, given that his body was rebuilt (maybe not Solidus's or Liquid's, but that's speculation). From all the images I've seen of MGS2, Solid Snake's eyes appear green. The symbiotes were a conquering race who had no feelings unto themselves.
