Mexican Flag 1836

The following is a list of flags that are used in the United Mexican States and its predecessor states. Between 1821-1836 the Mexican flag flew over Texas until Texas rebelled. Texas became the independent Republic of Texas between 1836-1845, but joined the United States in 1845 until the American Civil War when they opted to join the ill.
