This Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man Lift-and-Lower Craft brings the Bible story to life! Using string or twine, kids can lower the paralyzed man through the roof-just like in the story from Mark 2:1-12, Matthew 9:1-8, and Luke 5:17. I made the paralyzed man and the bed according to the craft instructions found below. I tied yarn to the four corners of the bed, and used a craft stick on top of the box to hold the man in place after lowering him down.
Release the yarn from the stick, so that after Jesus heals him the man can stand up, and "carry" his bed. This fun craft, based on Mark 2:1-12, will help children remember the miracle Jesus performed when he healed a paralytic.
