Color Kid Superhero
Color Kid aka Ulu Vakk was born on Lupra and worked at a local laboratory. Its current project was conducting research on the nature of energy. While in the lab, Vakk was struck by a beam of light from another dimension and received the power to alter any electromagnetic property or organic and inorganic objects and beings.
His first feat was to change the frequency and wavelength of an object. Color Kid is a member of Legion of Substitute Heroes. He has the ability to change the color of anything.

Ulu Vakk came to Earth in the latter half of the 30th century from his native planet Lupra to apply for membership in the Legion of Super. During this time, Color Kid found new uses for his powers, like changing the properties of a kryptonite cloud from green to blue so it wouldn't affect Superboy and Supergirl, and illusion powers on a lower scale than those of Princess Projectra. He later joined the Legion of Substitute Heroes alias 'the Subs', a group formed of rejected Legion applicants, where he proved his effectiveness as a superhero. As the Substitute Heroes were official reservists for the Legion of Super-Heroes, Color Kid also became an official reservist.
