The lessons in raising of Lazarus show us the power of Jesus to resurrect us from the dead and that his timing is always perfect! John 11:1-44 tells us about the story of Lazarus and his closest friend Jesus. A beautiful friendship that leads to a relationship between Jesus and Lazarus family. Through this story, Jesus taught us a lot of lessons that could help us in our walk as Christians.
We understand that God can create situations in our lives for the glory of His name and kingdom. When He had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped in strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. This is a famous story, and is a good conclusion to this series of lessons on Jesus' miracles.
In this story, we clearly see both the divinity and humanity of Jesus. He has the power over death, communicates directly with the Father, and we see a clear co. Lazarus was raised from dead after 4 days of his death.
This has been quite a normal sermon we hear from our childhood, but there are 7 lessons we can learn for our daily living. So what are some lessons from this part of history with Jesus and Lazarus? 1. God gets the glory.
2. Jesus gives us life, and can breathe life into that which is dead. 3.

In fact, despite Jesus being very good friends with him, we only read about Lazarus in John chapters 11-12. It is another Lazarus in Jesus' story in Luke 16:19-31. Lazarus' two sisters, Mary and Martha, are mentioned in Luke 10:38-42.
John identifies Mary as the one who anointed Jesus' feet with oil and wiped them with. 1) Jairus' daughter (who had died only hours before, (Mark 5:22ff; Luke 8:21ff 2) a son of a widow of Nain (Luke 7:11) and Lazarus. Their raising from the dead pictures how Christ can impart new life to those at various ages.
