No person, partnership, corporation, business organization or other entity shall engage in, carry on or conduct the business of plumbing as a master plumber within the County of Westchester and no person shall represent himself or herself to be or advertise as a master plumber within the County of Westchester unless licensed as a master plumber pursuant to this article. The County Board of Plumbing Examiners may issue and renew a master plumber's license or certification. All applications for a county-wide master plumber's license or journey level certification shall be submitted on forms furnished by the board and shall be accompanied by the required fee, as herein provided. If you a licensed master plumber in Westchester County, the new licensing requirements in Westchester County means that all licensed master plumbers complete four (4) hours of continuing education each year, starting in 2025.
As a benefit of membership, our members pay just $100 for their continuing education class. All plumbing permit applications must be accompanied by a valid Westchester County Plumbing License. This includes gas lines from a propane tank.
