In this article we're looking at how to paint the forces of Star Wars: Legions. In a galaxy far, far away the Goonhammer team have been working on their Star Wars: Legion forces, dutifully working on the armies that will conquer/save the galaxy for the dark/light.
Colour Schemes Hello Legionnaires! I will be purchasing (at least) the Core Set of Legion, so will he painting both sides of the war. The rebels will be more fun to paint for me - using anything from a warm colours palette, but mainly browns, tans, greens and blues, and all the troopers can look different. The stormtroopers however.
White. Despite their simple color scheme, these are actually some of the hardest (for me) to paint. I tried a process similar to the Snowtroopers - a first layer of contrast Apothecary White on the armor, with Black Templar on the interior cloth and weapons.
The B1 Battle Droids I am painting are based on the bone color scheme that is common in the Clone Wars tv series and the Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith films.
