Psalm 139:14 says, "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." I decided to write a short psalm of my own based on this verse and to also share the song by MercyMe. I am wonderfully made I am so delighted to be skillfully, splendidly formed into marvelous, wonderful me. Look at me, I am fearfully made I am so thrilled to be brilliantly, amazingly formed Lord, into the likeness of Thee.
Look at yourself, look at what God has made I am so excited for you magnificently, superbly formed into fearfully. You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were. Secretary's Report Mission Story We are fearfully made to testify of God's praises *Suggestion: Let two children testify about an incident where they had to stand up for Jesus and knowing they are fearfully and wonderfully made, for example, and incident of bullying, etc. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

I am fearfully, wonderfully made There are two eyes in my head with which I see Two ears one on each side to hear birds chirp, leaves russle, that please One mouth with which I can eat all the bounty of earth made for me Two hands which accomplish work or play Two feet to carry me forever and a day He's fearfully, wonderfully made (Bumblebee) One large body heavy in design Delicate tiny wings. when i know the truth don't say that i am ugly when i can see clearly don't say that i am worthless when i hear differently don't tell me things about myself that i know are lies for i am eternally being renewed for a higher purpose for i am fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image for i am alive and breathing with a purpose living inside. I just "sovereignly stumbled" upon two beautiful reflections on how God fearfully and wonderfully makes us (Psalm 139:13-14).
One is a song-by Ellie Holcomb. The other is a poem-by Gloria Umanah. The song (see link below) includes a moving recitation of the poem.
