Optimus Prime Eye Color

I actually like the yellow eyes on his blue helm, it's a nice variety of colors but I still prefer blue because it's best to color coordinate Autobots with blue eyes, Decepticons with red eyes, mercanaries with green eyes, drones with yellow eyes, and neutrals with white eyes. While it's probably for that 'blue eyes mean good guys and red eyes mean bad guy' concept, there have been transformers who don't necessarily follow that rule. During both Robots in Disguise (2001) and Armada, when Optimus Prime goes into his super mode, his eyes are red.

When the orginal toy came out he had yellow eye's but when Takara and Hasbro re-released him Hasbro stuck with the yellow eye's. Yellow eyes is classic Optimus Prime. The toy had Yellow eyes, most of the characters with 'abilities' had yellow eyes as toys if you look into the character bios, it's not mentioned but the connection is there.

When ever someone turns evil they're color becomes darker and more intense like D-16, Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave, all have yellow eyes to begin right and well every time someone is in a rage and hatred then they start to turn orange then into red like Megatron and Starscream but Soundwave and Shockwave still have.
