Hell yeah! Enderman on Hard difficulty should behave like they did back then. I remember spinning around on every teleport sound, just to avoid the "back whacks". On July 26th 2011 Minecraft's creator, Markus "Notch" Persson posted a screenshot of a new mob added to the Beta 1.8 version of the game on his Google + account.
In a Reddit post from the same day, Notch announced their official name would be Enderman as a reference to a user called drodeznop who jokingly referred to them as Slender Man. 3) No spamming. 4) No advertising.

7) Keep the posts PG. all ages of people play Minecraft. Players who have faced the dangerous Endermen in Minecraft know that making eye contact causes them to get angry.
However, a user on Reddit's r/Minecraft board, named u/pastaboil, recently. Minecraft is a very shallow game lorewise. The End exists as an ultimate challange for those who will not be contented to sit aroun spawn and build their castle bigger.
The End and Endermen are the manifestation of the player's desire for challange, excitement and a lack of comfort and safety. It's like in Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U when if you turn the difficulty up on classic, the boss turns. The purpose of an enderman trap is for the easy access and killing of endermen.
It is possible for the user to create such a trap that can be used by simply standing still, and looking at the endermen. This angers any you look at, luring them into the trap. Most endermen traps are best suited to the End or warped forests, as endermen spawn at a considerably higher rate there.
You can still. Everyone used to rage about creepers (some still do). Because they blew up large portions of the world and your work.
Endermen remove and replace one block at a time at a very slow pace. They do far less damage than some of the posts here on r/Minecraft would suggest. I also, believe that there are far less people that dislike them than it seems, but the upset are always the most vocal.
The Enderman is a tall neutral mob found in all three dimensions. Endermen normally ignore players and lazily amble about, but they will swiftly walk to attack those that damage it or look directly at its face. Endermen teleport to avoid water (which harms them), projectiles and some other damage sources, and they occasionally pick up certain blocks.
They will also teleport more rapidly in. The obsidian spires are the only remaining structures of the old enderman civilization, the only material the dragon cannot bust through. The dragon chose this bit of the world as his nest, and the rest is gone - the enderman do not fight the dragon because he is a Lovecraftian world destroyer to them, and no one is stupid enough to do that.
Tips for finding Endermen? Trying to beat minecraft for the first time with a friend of mine. We were able to find a blaze spawn in the nether, and have built a 'hunting lodge' overlooking a large swath of land to find and kill as many Endermen as possible. It is a slow going process.
I was hoping to get around 20 eye of ender.
