The Hippo course is WAY better in terms of being web-based, outstanding quality, entertaining, and seemed to keep getting better as I was studying (adding new bonus content etc.). AAPA PANCE/PANRE Review is the most comprehensive PA course review, CME and core content to prepare you to ace your board exam while being thoroughly entertained. Its easier than Rosh Review but harder than smarty pance questions.
I found the most helpful in learning the material for the first time and if you want to hammer down the fundamentals its pretty good. From my understanding HIPPO is like a course while Rosh is only a question bank. So I think it depends on how you failed and what you need to work on.
If you lack content I think HIPPO would be better for you but if you had test anxiety and struggled with vignettes Rosh is your answer. AAPA PANCE/PANRE Review: Access 1800 Qbank questions and CME with the AAPA PANCE/PANRE Review. Study independently with detailed video lectures and summaries.
I have seen where people are using Google and Smarty Pance but has anyone used the Hippo Education PANRE-LA Reference Guide? It specifically states that you can search the topic info you need to find the answers to your questions. It's $99 for a year subscription so about the same cost as Smarty Pance. Thanks for any input!
