The Wildlife Forever Art of Conservation contest series was created to inspire and connect youth to the outdoors. Using art, writing, and science-based lessons, the programs highlight conservation issues and the need to conserve fish, wildlife and wild places around the world. This annual competition invites youth worldwide to connect with nature, learn about fish and aquatic habitats, and express their creativity through art and writing. Since its founding in 1997, the contest has engaged over 85,000 students across 46 countries, inspiring future stewards of the outdoors. The Fish Art Contest, the national contest organized by Wildlife Forever, was inspired by a 5th grader's homework assignment that has grown into an international competition introducing youth to the wonders of fishing and the outdoors.
