Endure is not worth it for Slaking because he will faint the next turn when he inevitably gets hit while loafing around Encore is interesting because it would be very helpful to lock your opponent into a move that doesn't impact Slaking very much. That would help mitigate the effects of Truant Generally, you want big damage moves like Earthquake, Return or Hyper Beam on Slaking to go for one. The standard Slaking has a move that hits every Pokémon for at least neutral damage so you'll only beat it by out predicting your opponent.
