Someone made a video a few years ago that went over estimations of the mane 6's ages based on Equestria Girls and other tidbits of knowledge that came from the show (like when Fluttershy said she was older than Pinkie). After Twilight Sparkle sticks up for her. I'd imagine they are all mature like the pony counterparts, but it's also weird to think that they everypony back in Equestria is 18, no more, no less. Especially because Fluttershy must be an year older than Pinkie.
Can fluttershy fly? Fluttershy is an average flier under normal circumstances but is incapable of flight in moments of fear or stress. In Dragonshy, hearing the dragon's snore at the bottom of the mountain renders her paralyzed in midair. Fluttershy later fails to cross a chasm using her wings even after her anxiety had faded slightly.
In My Little Pony Equestria Girls, Fluttershy accompanies Twilight to her first princess summit in the Crystal Empire, and she witnesses Sunset Shimmer steal Twilight's crown. Equestria Girls Fluttershy is a humanoid version of the G4 pony Fluttershy, as depicted in the Equestria Girls series.
