Fox Kashima Color

I've dug around a bit, but I haven't had any luck finding additional components that would perfectly match the kashima coatings found on Fox's forks and droppers. Has anyone ever seen other kashima-colored (or coated) pedals, stems, hubs, chains, chainrings, bolts, etc? The color of the metal before, the porosity of the metal's surface, and the depth of those pores affects the Kashima Coating's color. The color of the fork stanchions in the CTD era was sort of an alu gold, and the shocks from the same era were sometimes a grey color.

Slik graphics for fork decals same quality as fox ones and you can customise your colour choice on there website and they do a kashima colour too. Other than that don't add to much colour a little goes a long way. seat clamp,stem spacers,tubeless valves keep it subtle.

Kashima coat color differences between fork/shock in Fox Racing Shox. Copper/Bronze is a really cool looking color. If you're after Kashima gold, this is the color we would say most closely matches the gold of fox rear shocks therefore it is darker than Kashima on forks.

****SPECIAL NOTE**** Bronze is the most thin color layer. While it looks rad, it is the easiest to scratch and is prone to discoloring. So keep that in mind when ordering Bronze.

No! before a big change on my bike I had 2012 fox float kashima fork and kash RP23 I fitted a kmc x10SL chain also! Kashima 2012 onwards gold is much darker almost bronze. The kmc chain is. Some high-end motorsports parts are adorned in the flashy gold Kashima Coat - and it does look really nice.

My guess is it was a Covid parts supply issue and all they had were two.mismatched stanchions, but they needed to get product out the door. FOX has a long relationship with the color gold. It represents winning, the shiny finish on trophies, what World Champions wear around their neck on the top step of the podium.
