Spirit Dyes For Wood
A range of fine spirit powder dyes and pigments, traditionally used by Antique Restorers as a wood dye when mixed with Methylated Spirits/Finishing Spirits or Shellac Polish, to add depth of colour or to, in the case of pigments, match an existing finish. Lustersheen spirit (alcohol) based wood dye offers exceptional depth of color on interior wood surfaces. Spirit dyes can be mixed with shellac based polishes to add further color between coats.
Spirit dye is quick drying and easy to apply. The traditional wood stain for coloring dense hard woods and previously finished wood. Chestnut Spirit Stains Includes: BLACK, BLUE, GREEN, ORANGE, PURPLE, RED, ROYAL BLUE, YELLOW and WHITE.
