I have seen both in person, especially the Silica White countless times through my buddy's 650. Silica white is just plain white while the glacier white has peculiar shades and tints to it. It is dull white without direct lighting; however, it shows hints of blue and purple tints under the light.
By far, this is the top color within the spectrum of 'white' color for me. Much better in real. Pearl White is a gloss Mclaren paint colour (hex #EBEBEB).
