In a narrative following a similar story, a young Lightning McQueen depressed after losing his previous race, departs and runs into Mack, a rusty moving van for the Eggman company who was impressed with his performance on the track and explained to the race car about the laws of physics of racing which causes McQueen to rudely ask the truck. Mack is Lightning McQueen's transporter and one of his longest friends. He and McQueen work for the Rust-eze team in the Piston Cup Racing Series, with Mack bringing him to all of his races.
