Sonic Colors: Ultimate is that same game, remastered for modern platforms with improved lighting, 4K/60 FPS support (except on Switch, of course), a remixed soundtrack, and a couple of other minor. Overall, Sonic Colors Ultimate is a must-buy for anyone who loved the original release - or who missed it and always wanted to try it out. On the PS4 and PS5, it plays wonderfully and our time netted zero issues either visually or with crashes.

Review: Sonic Colors is a family-friendly 3D Platformer first released on the Wii in 2010 (with a completely different game with the same name releasing on Nintendo DS) and in 2021 ported to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in. Sonic Colors Ultimate brings a very good game featuring an amazing soundtrack to modern systems with visual enhancements, but it is let down by some glitches and an overall lack of polish in its current state on Nintendo Switch.
