About the controversy about Snow White Alright, so when the first look of Rachel Zegler as Snow White was revealed, many people got angry because Rachel has brown skin rather than white skin, considering that Snow White's name means "skin as white as snow". Were they right or wrong to call out Disney for making Snow White not white? I'm not offended, but it's kind of strange how 2 different creative teams (SW and WSS) thought Rachel has the right skin color or look for both Maria and Snow White. snow white should be white in fact she should have a skin so pale she could literally faint.
