Gaara Chakra Color
Gaara has large reserves of strong chakra, a fact Akamaru recognises even before Gaara has performed any technique. His chakra levels are partly because he was the jinchūriki of Shukaku, but even after Shukaku is removed from his body in Part II, there is no noticeable difference in his performance. Because Shukaku was an early creation pre-dating the red chakra mode that the other Jinchuuriki have.

Imo, Shukaku may be one of the stronger Tailed Beasts due to having strong sealing abilities because Tailed Beasts are susceptible to sealing jutsu. Gaara has the black markings around his eyes because of his status as a jinchuriki and his use of sand techniques.

No, I'm pretty sure all character have different colors. In fact Naruto's chakra color is yellow but the anime turned it into blue and Sasuke is purple in the color pages of Dei v Sasuke fight it has Sasuke with purple chakra doing chidori and his susano color is purple as well. Kishimoto draws the rasengan as yellow and he tells Jiraya his normal chakra is yellow but sometimes he feels a red chakra. The anime just makes it so everyone's chakra is a blue color. Gaara can also crush any mineral into sand to control it and the sand is heavily resilient to most forms of fire due to the chakra.
