Max-D History Perhaps the most striking Monster Jam® truck on the Monster Jam circuit, the body of Max-DTM is officially classified as a "futuristic SUV." Featuring an orange and silver paint job coupled with a low-to-the-ground, aerodynamic body style, it's well. Maximum Destruction was one of the most popular monster trucks of all time and had been the main rival to Monster Jam's other flagship truck, Grave Digger; Tom and Dennis Anderson shared a fierce on track rivalry that started long before the debut of Max-D and lasted until Dennis' retirement in 2017. Maximum Destruction, also known as Max-D, was a monster truck team owned by Feld Entertainment and operated by Tom Meents that ran as part of the Monster Jam circuit from 2000 through 2024.

Tom Meents is scheduled to debut the new Fire Max D at Monster Jam Fire & Ice as part of Team Fire for Monster Jam Stadium Tour 1 in 2019. Blake Granger is scheduled to take over for Jared while he's on hiatus during the first quarter of the season. Max-D: Decade of Destruction was a series of bodies ran in 2013 for Max-D's 10 year anniversary.
Tom Meents received a special glow body with LEDs. Neil Elliot and Kreg Christensen ran a grey body with spikes on top. All three also ran fireworks whenever the truck performed in freestyle.

At the World Finals, Tom ran a special chrome version of the spiked body & won freestyle for the first time. According to the folks at Monster Jam, Max-D isn't actually a truck. However, the truck is most well-known for its spectacular crash at the 2011 event in Arlington.
