Your best bet is going to be lifting as much of the black as you can with clarifying shampoo and hot water to soften the difference between it and your natural color, and then letting your hair grow out until your stylist can start with fresh unprocessed hair. 44 votes, 48 comments. hi! so this is my first time posting bc i need help T_T but yeah i wanna dye my hair this milk tea brown color but i have.

I absolutely love this color I've been seeing lately! So far I've seen it be called "milk tea brown" or "milk tea ash brown". I plan to change my hair hopefully in the next month if not two & would love to go with this.
Since I have this color in mind I've been researching hair dye recently. I've been interested in the beige milk tea look since I stumbled into Japanese hair Instagram a couple of months ago. I took notes on how to do this color for a while and then I had a couple of fails (tried to use a pink booster because I thought that was the best approximation of what the pros are doing, really could not figure out how to get it pink enough for the pink to show up without.
I wanted to have a sort of dark beige blonde or "milk tea" blonde but looking at all the products out there, I have no idea what to try and I can't risk it going wrong or my hair will fall out haha. Any advice on what brands or colours would darken my hair a bit without causing too much extra damage? I barely saw the comments advising against doing it at home and went ahead and did it. It's very golden and a bit darker orange in the middle.
How can I save it? I was thinking the best was to put a light brown over it? (My hair last photos).
