The two electric motors driving the front and rear wheels combine for a total of 279 hp on top of the 4.6-liter V8's 608 hp at 8,500 rpm. The exterior of the 918 is painted in a color called Grand Prix White, which extends down to the magnesium Weissach wheels, held in place by red. Indicating 180 miles, the car is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 that works in conjunction with dual electric motors that drive all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK automatic transaxle, and it is finished in Oryx White over Mocha.

The Porsche 918 Spyder, serial number 656, was delivered brand new by Porsche of North Houston in 2015 and has only covered 12 miles since then. The Porsche 918 Spyder is the headliner of a private garage dubbed the White Collection. The collection includes as many as 56 white-painted Porsches, all headed to auction.
