frankly, I didn't even realize that almost all human Mario characters had blue eyes until 10 minutes ago. the designs themselves have variety, but not exactly in the color of the eyes. the thing is.why is all of the human characters (except Waluigi obviously.) have blue eyes? Other simply colored, such as the hat, overalls, hair, and skin color also appear to have color values rather than use color information from a texture.
