It is fully backwards-compatible with all Game Boy games, and could run these games with a number of pre-set palettes. Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Pinball Land, and Kirby's Dream Land 2 in particular had special Game Boy Color palettes designed specifically for them. Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Pinball Land, and Kirby's Dream Land 2 all supports these unique palettes.
