He should be the nemesis to Bumblebee and this would make sense as a way to bring him back while also giving the writers another chance to do the "man-made" transformer plot. Also a solid animated reference. Bumblebee 2 make it so.
Bumblebee gets kidnapped by Blitzwing in the midst of a major storm, so instead of being dragged straight to Megatron the two are forced to take shelter in a cave.
