Aladdin (/ əˈlædɪn / ə-LAD-in; Arabic: علاء الدين, romanized:ʻAlāʼu d-Dīn/ʻAlāʼ ad-Dīn, IPA: [ʕalaːʔ adˈdiːn], ATU 561, 'Aladdin') is a Middle-Eastern folk tale.
