Her work has been published in anthologies by Thomas Nelson, Tyndale Publishing and Adams Media. As well she is a New York Times Best Selling Author through a book she co-authored with actress Candace Cameron Bure called, Reshaping it All: Motivation for Spiritual.

She began her publishing journey about twelve years ago when she pioneered one of the first online magazines for Christian women, known at the time as "Christian Women Online Magazine." After three years, Darlene left CWO to blog as a solo author at Time. She started Time-Warp Wife in 2010 out of a place of grace, with a passion to encourage women in their marriages. She and her husband Michael live in Manitoba Canada.
