We used a Tyvex suit as a prop for the Panda. The Tyvex suit is all white, so we decided to paint it. When we got to the tail, we had a debate on "What color is the Panda's tail?" Some said "It's white!", and others said "It's Black!" Since we had different opinions, we decided to research online.
Are panda tails white or black? The answer is white! An adult giant panda has a tail of about 20 cm long, covered with white fur. Many tend to believe a panda's tail is black, because the tail is usually stained with dirt and mud as the black. Moreover, the fur on the giant panda's body makes it more camouflaged.
